The War of Emperium

The War of Emperium is a war between different guilds to claim castles to be your headquarters for the guild. The war takes place at two of the six Castle Regions, randomly selected at the beginning of the war two times a week.

If you destroy the Emperium inside the castle and win the war, your guild becomes the new owner of the castle. There is a big reward awaiting those who obtain a castle, so cooperate with your guild members or even other guilds and attack the castle.

Only two chances each week! The War of Emperium is only possible during the following times:

Every Week
Wednesday
Saturday
3 pm ~ 4 pm (PST)
3 pm ~ 4 pm (PST)

Only guilds with the 'Approval' skill can participate in the War.

War of Emperium: Second Edition Strongholds enable guilds to employ additional lines of defense to protect the Emperium, and thus ownership of their Strongholds from rival guilds. The Fortress Gates, Gate Houses, and overall reduction of Warp Portals within these Strongholds require new and more daring strategies for conquering guilds to shatter Emperiums and take over Strongholds.

Gate Houses

War of Emperium: Second Edition Gate Houses   Gate Houses are the first line of defense protecting the Emperium of a Guild Stronghold. Strongholds have two Gate Houses, each of which holds a Guardian Stone that can summon Guardians for the defending guild. Both Guardian Stones must be destroyed to nullify the summoned Guardians, and enable access to the Fortress Gate. The defending guild can reclaim/rebuild the Gate Houses to close the Fortress Gates and summon their Guardians again.

Fortress Gates

War of Emperium: Second Edition Fortress Gates   Fortress Gates are the most critical line of defense protecting the Emperium. They cannot be restored by the defending guild after it is destroyed, leaving the Emperium vulnerable to intruders. Destroyed Fortress Gates can only be restored in the same WoE period when the Stronghold is conquered by a new guild; the new guild owners must then rebuild the Fortress Gates and Gate Houses to protect their newly acquired Stronghold.

Link Flags

War of Emperium: Second Edition Link Flags   Guild owners can instantly transport to the Emperium Room and other areas of the Stronghold by using Link Flags located throughout the Stronghold. The Emperium Room is not only be a crucial area to defend, but can also be used for offensive maneuvers by the defending guild.
